1How have you helped a client when it really mattered?

When the Covid-19 pandemic kicked off, many businesses were closing completely and others faced a huge level of uncertainty. This was the case for one of my recent clients, a UK rail company, who relied upon national and international consumer travel in order to keep their business afloat. I worked with them to shape a recovery plan which was based on a set of assumptions being true at a specific time (we only knew so much at the start!). This work was not only hugely interesting, but also was fundamental to keeping the business going, in such uncertain and distressing times.

2 Qual é a coisa mais importante que você aprendeu em Berkeley? Um deve se sentir confortável no desconhecido. Muito do trabalho que fazemos é entrar muitas vezes em uma quantidade ou problema desconhecido, em um setor em que podemos não ter trabalhado antes. Aprendi a aproveitar isso como uma oportunidade para aprender e também aplicar minha experiência em uma série de outras indústrias à tarefa em questão. Freqüentemente, também somos solicitados a resolver problemas que podem não ser necessariamente o maior problema para foco quando chegarmos ao cliente. Identificar e recomendar um problema diferente a ser resolvido, que geralmente é o certo, tem sido uma lição fortalecida para eu aprender.

I have learned a lot of important things during my time at Berkeley. One is to be comfortable in the unknown. A lot of the work we do is often entering an unknown quantity or problem, in an industry we may have not have worked in before. I have learned to take this as an opportunity to learn, and also apply my experience from a host of other industries to the task at hand. Often, we are also asked to solve issues which may not necessarily be the largest problemfor focus once we arrive at the client. Identifying and recommending a different problem to solve, which is often the right one, has been an empowering lesson for me to learn.

Esse interesse teve um papel enorme na minha carreira; Ao oferecer mudanças em vários grupos de pessoas, entender e se interessar pela maneira como eles pensam e sentem foi fundamental. Também sou apaixonado por comida, viagens, arte e moda. Adoro cozinhar em casa e experimentar a cena do restaurante de Londres. Eu também sou um grande fã de férias exóticas que geralmente incluem uma boa mistura de caminhadas (por alguns dias) e relaxando em uma praia de areia (pelos 10 dias restantes). Office

I am passionate about anthropology and love to people watch! What makes people tick, how they interact with each other and how people interpret and digest things is fascinating to me. This interest has played a huge part in my career; when delivering change across multiple groups of people, understanding and taking an interest in how they think and feel has been fundamental. I am also passionate about food, travel, art and fashion. I love cooking at home as well as trying out London’s restaurant scene. I am also a huge fan of exotic holidays which often include a good mix of hiking (for a few days) and relaxing on an sandy beach (for the remaining 10 days).
